Everyone Village has secured $2.465 million in federal funding through the Community Initiatied Projects to support its MicroVillage Housing pilot. This federal investment will support the development of new affordable housing units, as phase 1 of an innovative, scalable neighborhood model designed to serve individuals transitioning out of homelessness. These units will house up to 115 low-income Lane County residents.
Rather than relying solely on traditional construction delivery models, a portion of the units will be produced in partnership with Team Oregon Build, a statewide initiative that engages K-12 construction Career and Technical Education classrooms in hands-on housing production.
