Building a Stronger Healthcare Future in Lane County

Building on the Lane County Medical Society‘s Advocacy Series, the Lane County Healthcare Sector Partnership, coordinated by Bushnell University, the Lane County Medical Society, and Collaborative EDO (CEDO), continues to grow its table and bring more voices into the conversation. On August 4, the partnership hosted the Future of Healthcare Forum, bringing together 50+ healthcare leaders, policymakers, employers, and community members for an evening of candid conversation and audience Q&A on the decisions shaping healthcare access, affordability, workforce stability, and patient care across Lane County.

The evening featured two panels, Access & Community Impacts and Policy & the Practice of Medicine, exploring how changes to healthcare funding, OHP, administrative burdens, corporate practice of medicine policies, and emerging legislative priorities are affecting providers, patients, the healthcare workforce, and Lane County’s economic vitality.
