Lane Workforce Partnership Seeks Nominations for Board of Directors

Lane Workforce Partnership is now accepting nominations for individuals interested in serving on its Board of Directors. Three positions are available for Business Representatives, with three-year terms beginning July 1, 2026.

Open Positions

  • Business Representatives: Three (3) Positions

Business representatives must be an owner, chief executive officer, chief operating officer, or an individual with optimum policy-making or hiring authority, and represent businesses that provide employment opportunities in in-demand industry sectors or occupations. Nomination by local business organizations or trade associations is required.

As the designated local Workforce Investment Board for Lane County, Oregon, Lane Workforce Partnership strategically invests in the community to fulfill its mission: meeting the workforce needs of employers and individuals through partnership and innovation.

The organization supports employers with recruitment and retention while helping individuals navigate employment and career advancement. Through collaboration with regional partners, Lane Workforce Partnership works to strengthen Lane County’s workforce and support long-term economic vitality.

The Lane Workforce Partnership Board of Directors is an engaged board that includes representatives from business, organized labor, education, economic development, community-based organizations, state agencies, and local government. Together, the board provides leadership and strategic direction for workforce development efforts across Lane County.

Workforce Development Across Oregon

Workforce boards across Oregon play a critical role in strengthening local economies and expanding access to career opportunities. Application Process

Prospective candidates should complete the application and submit it by Friday, April 10, 2026, to anne@laneworkforce.org.

Following the application deadline:

  • The LWP Executive Director and Board Chair will meet with prospective candidates.
  • The Lane Workforce Council will consider and approve nominations at its meeting on May 21, 2026.
  • Approved board members will begin their three-year terms on July 1, 2026.
