Creating Positive Impacts for Lane County’s Workforce

Adult & Dislocated Worker Program Services

Lane Workforce Partnership’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Adult Program provides individualized career services to help adults build the skills and experience needed to achieve meaningful employment. The program offers access to job search assistance, training opportunities, and career planning resources – supporting participants in reaching their career and financial goals.

The Dislocated Worker Program provides career services and training opportunities to help individuals re-enter the workforce, explore new career paths, and secure stable, in-demand employment. A dislocated worker is an individual who has lost their job through no fault of their own – such as a layoff, business closure, or reduction in workforce – and is unlikely to return to their previous occupation or industry. Dislocated workers may also include self-employed individuals who have experienced a significant loss of business income or displaced homemakers who are re-entering the workforce.

In the 2024 – 2025 Program Year, 187 adult and dislocated workers benefited from Lane Workforce Partnership’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) services.
