2022 State of the Workforce Report Highlights:

• Job Growth: Lane County is projected to add 23,900 jobs between 2020 and 2030, a 15% increase. This includes  23,400 private-sector jobs and 2,200 jobs in government. Even slow-growing industries will have opportunities due to replacement needs.
• Wages: In 2021, real average annual wages exceeded $52,000 for the first time since 1979, reaching $52,596.
• Earnings Distribution: Despite the average wage being $52,596 in 2021, approximately 57% of jobs paid less that this amount.
