Lane County’s Future Workforce
Youth Program Services
Lane Workforce Partnership’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Youth Program provides support and opportunities for youth and young adults ages 14 – 24 to prepare for their future careers. The program focuses on developing work readiness, academic, and occupational skills to help participants successfully transition from school to further education or employment.
In the 2024 – 2025 Program Year, 97 youth/young adults benefited from Lane Workforce Partnership’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) services.
Career Technical Education (CTE)
Career Technical Education (CTE) prepares students for various careers with hands-on experience. In 2024-2025, Lane County had 113 total approved programs in Lane County high schools and and 160 Lane County CTE teachers. Programs range from construction to healthcare.
