Youth Program Services

Lane Workforce Partnership’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Youth Program provides support and opportunities for youth and young adults ages 14 – 24 to prepare for their future careers. The program focuses on developing work readiness, academic, and occupational skills to help participants successfully transition from school to further education or employment.

In the 2024 – 2025 Program Year, 97 youth/young adults benefited from Lane Workforce Partnership’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) services.

Career Technical Education (CTE)

Career Technical Education (CTE) prepares students for various careers with hands-on experience.  In 2024-2025, Lane County had 113 total approved programs in Lane County high schools and and 160 Lane County CTE teachers. Lane County Sand and Gravel Tours

The 2025 Lane County Sand & Gravel Tour was a huge success! Thanks to the coordination from Lane Education Service District and Collaborative EDO, students had the incredible opportunity to explore the world of construction aggregate at four local companies: Delta Sand & Gravel Co., Knife River Corporation, RiverBend Materials, and Wildish Group of Companies.
 
These future industry leaders learned about heavy equipment, transportation, concrete, and much more.
