“Hi,  I’m DeLeesa Meashintubby, the Senior Operations Officer at Volunteers in Medicine Clinic.  I have had the pleasure for the past few years to work with Lane Workforce Partnership in their youth internship program.

I feel it has been a win-win for both organizations. It helps the students find out if they want to be in the medical field. It also gives them new skills and it helps us to provide quality services for our patients.

I hope and urge all businesses to consider using the youth internship program and I hope Congress continues to fund this program because it’s very much needed in our community."
