"Hi, I’m Amanda and I was part of the JOBS Program with Lane Workforce Partnership. I went to JOBS class and started out initially in the JOB search and then went to JOBS class with Lane Workforce Partnership.

I was referred by my employment specialist there for a job at St. Vincent de Paul. I didn’t apply, I interviewed and was accepted as a JOBS Plus position. I started out as front desk receptionist and now I have been here for almost two years. I have been promoted to Supported Work Case Aide.

I love my job and I love working with the people that I am working with. I’ve been there and I can tell them that I am a success. I am standing before them telling them that they can do it because I did. I was very discouraged, just like they are, and I give them hope. And, that is what I love about his job."
