Disability Navigator

A service of WorkSource Lane, the purpose of the Disability Navigator Program is to help people who experience multiple barriers to employment “navigate” through the challenges of seeking employment.

Fear of losing cash assistance and health benefits, along with complex rules surrounding entitlement programs, can often discourage people with disabilities from seeking employment. Navigators work in partnership with WorkSource Lane partners to:

  1. Assist consumers to use the resources at the WorkSource Lane center
  2. Provide information and referral to programs, services, and resources
  3. Provide information on training scholarships
  4. Help consumers understand Social Security and other benefits, and the effect of employment on benefits

Additionally, customers have the opportunity to benefit from the Career and Resource Mapping Class (CRM).  The CRM class is offered on the first Monday of every month from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. at the WorkSource Lane center at 2510 Oakmont, Eugene, and every third Monday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at WorkSource Lane, L.C.C. Main Campus, Bldg. 19, 4000 E. 30th, Eugene.
