Green Jobs Task Force
Overseen by the Lane Workforce Partnership Board of Directors, the Green Jobs Task Force serves as the local arm of the newly developed statewide Green Jobs Council. The Task Force goals include:

- Provide input to the Lane Workforce Partnership board of directors regarding related policy and resource allocation activities
- Seek and apply for grants that will bring more funding for green workforce development in Lane County
- Coordinate local efforts to align with the statewide initiative in the areas of career pathway development and development of new programs and training to meet this sector’s emerging needs
This Task Force will utilize the same green jobs definition that was established by the Oregon Employment Department and Oregon House Bill 3300 “Oregon Green Jobs Strategy” and accepted by the Oregon Workforce Investment Board (OWIB)
